As our 30th anniversary year drew to a close, in December 2023, we offered a chance to spend 2 days with our Artistic Director, Paul Hunter, exploring the role of the performer. This vibrant, engaging and practical workshop revealed what lies at the heart of Idiot performance. Drawing on comic physicality, impulse, instinct, verbal improvisation and the notion of play, participants left with an Idiot tool kit of provocations to take into 2024. This workshop formed part of our 30th birthday celebrations and sat alongside the return of our hit-show Get Happy, to the Barbican Pit for Christmas 2023.
