Inspired by our new production, The Strange Tale of Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel, in 2019 and 2020 we're working with underrepresented theatre makers across the UK to devise and create short films together that capture the skill and spirit of silent movie comedy.

We'll be screening the films in a variety of different venues, including alongside performances while we're on tour:

Wednesday 27th November at Theatre Royal, Plymouth

(film created by mentored artists on Theatre Royal Plymouth's 'Funky Llama' artist development programme)

Friday 28th February 2020 at Birmingham Repertory Theatre

(film created by Open Theatre artists)

We'll be adding more dates and also posting the films themselves on this page as soon as they're ready...so watch this space.
