Matthew Linley

Matthew's work as a producer and arts manager tends to blur traditional boundaries, frequently blending theatre, music, spoken word and the digital arts - sometimes working under his own steam and sometimes working with other partners, companies and venues.  As producer recent productions include Little Red (Home/Theatre Porto / Eastern Angles), Henry 1 (one of Dominic Cavendish's Top 5 shows of 2023, for Rabble Theatre), The City and the Town (Riksteatern, Sweden, UK and Swedish tours), The Chronicles of Atom and Luna (Funnelwick Limb), The Ballad of Maria Marten  (for Eastern Angles) and Nina- A Story About Me and Nina Simone (Unity Theatre / Riksteatern).  

Matthew has also led arts buildings in Reading (21 South Street), Bath (Michael Tippett Centre), Leicester (Phoenix Arts) and Liverpool (Unity Theatre) and held senior management positions at Eastern Angles Theatre Company and New Wolsey (where he led the RIBA award winning capital project NW2/Theatre Square).  He is a proud trustee of Mercury Theatre, Colchester
