Maria is Told by an Idiot's Associate Producer. She also works as a freelance dramaturg and translator, and as a facilitator for Angel Shed’s Youth Theatre.

She has previously worked with Zoo Co as Creative Associate and Assistant to the Artistic Director on shows including Perfect Show for Rachel at the Barbican and ILT Festival Denmark, Night Shift at Stanley Arts and Zoo Co’s Young Company. She has previously worked as Interim Producing Co-ordinator at the Royal Court and as Engagement Producer for Foreign Affairs Theatre Company.

She has toured internationally with her own company and worked in Denmark, Sweden, Ecuador, Poland and Croatia on international projects.
