The Essence of an Idiot workshop ‘The actor is the beginning and the end of theatre’ - Jozef Houben 2-day masterclass with Idiot AD Paul Hunter! For Told by an Idiot, the actor is at the centre of our process. This January, we offered a chance to spend 2 days with our Artistic Director, Paul Hunter, exploring the role of the performer. This vibrant, engaging and practical workshop will reveal what lies at the heart of Idiot performance. Drawing on comic physicality, impulse, instinct, verbal improvisation and the notion of play, participants will leave with an Idiot tool kit of provocations to take into 2025.
