Cancellation by a participant:

To cancel a workshop booking, you must inform us, either by:

  • contacting the Told by an Idiot office on +44(0)207 407 4123 and speaking to one of the team
  • emailing i[email protected]

Cancellations received within 14 days of making the booking, and earlier than 14 days before the beginning of the workshop are eligible for a full refund. Alternatively, bookings can be transferred to another available workshop of the same cost, or towards the cost of an available, more expensive workshop.

Cancellations received after 14 days of making the booking, but earlier than 14 days before the beginning of the workshop will receive a refund minus 10% admin fee.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the workshop (regardless of the booking date), are not eligible for a refund or a transfer onto another workshop. You can however transfer your place to another person. In this case, we will need to receive the details of the new person joining. Please email [email protected] with this information.

Cancellation by Told by an Idiot:

Told by an Idiot will make every effort to avoid cancelling workshops. Where feasible, the workshop will be postponed rather than cancelled. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled dates, a full refund of the workshop fee will be issued. Please note that in the event of cancellation or postponement, Told by an Idiot accepts no liability for any additional costs you may have incurred, including travel or accommodation. We strongly recommend that participants obtain appropriate insurance to cover any such expenses.
