Bharat’s talent was spotted at Derby Theatre where he performed in Pulse, a community play in 2014. He began training with Hubbub Theatre Company in 2017 which has included working with theatre companies Told by an Idiot, Gecko and Can’t Sit Still.

Bharat has been part of the Hubbub Theatre Company ensemble, devising and performing original productions for both indoor and outdoor venues, including The (not so) Quiet Revolution of Kindness commissioned by international street theatre festival, Derby Feste. Bharat is currently developing Hubbub’s next production The Drum with the company.

Bharat played the lead role in Told by an Idiot’s silent movie created with Hubbub, Come with me Sunshine which was premiered as part of the national tour of The Strange Tale of Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel.

Bharat says ‘As an actor I am able to adapt to different roles; the creativity in my mind has allowed me to experience and be more in touch with the human nature side of acting and set myself free as an actor.’

Bharat is a British South Asian neurodivergent actor who has Langer Giedion syndrome.

He is delighted to be part of this film project and to learn new skills with a great company! Bharat also hopes to bring his own film script to life in the near future!
