The Role of the Writer in the Devising Process
March 2012
On a devised show a writer is often used, but what is the exact function of the writer when working this way and how does it differ from a more conventional process?
How is it possible to genuinely integrate a writer into a collaborative experience whilst maximising the creativity and experience of an individual imagination?
This intensive workshop will explore Told by an Idiot’s unique relationship with writers and how, by generating the right atmosphere, a writer can be a crucial part of any devising process.
