Since Told by an Idiot’s first production of On the Verge of Exploding in 1993, the company has performed throughout the world, working with a broad array of highly skilled artists, including Richard Wilson, Zoe Rahmen, Carol Ann Duffy and Philip Pullman. Playing the Victim

7th August - 8th November 2003

A man lies on the ground, eyes open, facing the camera, his body outlined in white chalk

Written by the Presnyakov Brothers, this touring production told the story of a young man playing the victim in murder reconstructions.

A Little Fantasy

23rd October 2002 - 2nd February 2003

Two women grabbing money that falls from the sky

Developed at the London International Mime Festival this piece tells the story of a family living on the wrong side of the law.

I Can’t Wake Up

27th September 2001 - 31st March 2002

Two men in Napoleonic costume, one holds a pineapple

Based on an original story by Paul Hunter, this production was staged in the Lyric studio in 2002.
